This year our colleagues attended the charity event entitled “One million stars for children with disabilities” organized by Caritas Satu Mare.
The goal of this event was strengthening solidarity with children with disabilities and their families and to support over 150 children who are cared annually in care day centers for children with special needs and the rehabilitation center of Caritas Satu Mare.
These children benefit from high quality services offered by a specialized multidisciplinary team consisting of physicians, psychologists, educational psychologists, speech therapists, teachers, therapist, etc. The purpose of these services is to offer children the chance to make a living as an independent in the future.
Participants, by lighting a candle for 5 lei, helped care for the children. In this way 2835 lei were gathered in this noble cause.
